After a nice 15-hour nap, I feel so much better.

Okay, now for an update: those of you who check up on my page regularly (bless you) have probably noticed a consider lag in activity from my end. I just want to say that moving out of college and back home for the summer (topped off by three weeks of nonstop work) tend to do that. This is the first weekend that I've actually been home for the whole day rather than in town doing something for the Parks & Rec Department.

In other random news, I was able to see the new Pixar movie "Up" the day before yesterday . . . wow. It's really amazing--I laughed, I cried, I checked my watch and realized that that was all in the first ten minutes. If you haven't seen it yet, go out and see it. I mean it--stop reading this (no, really, stop), go to the local cinema, get a ticket, sit down, and WATCH it. *I'll wait for you to do that.*

Back? Okay, good. If "Up" didn't tug on your heartstrings or at the very least make you smile, you're obviously not human. I mean, that's ten good movies for ten made from Pixar, and what a list they've compiled. WALL-E still ranks as my favorite, but that's only because I'm a SciFi junkie. "Up" is, in my mind, the best they've made yet.

In between work, I've been able to start writing again, and I might even work up the courage to actually (*gasp*) draw something before terribly long. More on that as it goes, though.
